WHAT ARE DENTAL IMPLANTS?
A dental implants are also known as an Endosseous implant or a fixture is a surgical component that interfaces with the bone of the jaw or skull to support teeth such as a bridge, crown or a denture, facial prosthesis. The modern dental implants is basically a biologic process called Osseointegration, in which materials like titanium forms an intimate bond to the bone. The implant fixture is first placed so that it is likely to Osseo integrate, then a dental prosthetic is added. Healing time is required for Osseointegration before either the dental prosthetic (a tooth, denture or bridge) is attached to the implant or an abutment is placed which will hold a dental prosthetic.

PROCEDURE OF DENTAL IMPLANTS!
As we assured you that you’ll receive high quality dental care when you come to All Brite Dentistry for a dental implant procedure. In most of the situations, a 3-D CT scan of your teeth is required and along with that virtual planning software to design the implant placement and the replacement teeth, even before the procedure starts itself. This happens after the initial examination and, if needed, it also allows you to place a temporary tooth till the day of surgery.
First, we’ll help you out to feel more comfortable by using a recommended sedation option. If necessary, we will extract any teeth prior for the implant placement. After those teeth are removed, we will place dental implants in your jaw bone using the simple and gentle surgical techniques with least pain. Then we’ll place the replacement teeth on your implants. In some cases, the patient and the dentist may decide that a more traditional approach to implant placement is best. With a traditional procedure, the newly-placed implants will be left undisturbed for several weeks to a few months while the surrounding bone and soft tissue heal. During this bone-remodeling phase, the bone will grow and the tissue will shape around the implants to form a strong bond. In the meantime, we’ll place a temporary tooth on the implants so the patient won’t have to leave the clinic toothless.
If your situation calls for the All-on-4, you’ll leave the clinic that day with a dental implant-supported bridge. This is a temporary dental implant bridge designed which lasts up to six months. This six-month period will give time to your jaw for healing and will allow your dentist to create the permanent implant-supporting bridge. In the time period of approximately six months, you will get your permanent fixed teeth that will fit in your jaw perfectly. In the meantime, your temporary teeth will look and feel like real teeth and you’ll immediately see a magnificent change in your appearance and self-confidence.
All Brite Dentistry has a custom dental laboratory that is fully equipped to make your temporary teeth, braces, and your final teeth. We’ll take impressions of your new implants as well as the implant abutments, and we will then fabricate the replacement teeth as well as the underlying structures that will be attached to the implants. In addition, our experts will help you to choose the appropriate shade for the replacement of your teeth so you can feel confident every time while smiling. This process can be done sometimes on the same day as the implant procedure, or one to two weeks after depending upon the treatment option, a number of missing teeth and the type of replacement teeth.
Dental implants give you a lifelong smile, and it’s important to protect that new smile. Regular care for your dental implants is required on daily basis brushing and flossing, as well as regular checkups and cleanings at dental implant center. Your dental implants look just like real teeth, and they also work like real teeth, as long as you treat them as you would your natural teeth, and you’ll have a beautiful smile for your whole life.
Most of the people who have received the dental implants say that there is very little discomfort pain which they had felt in the procedure. Local anesthesia can be used during the procedure, and most patients report that implants involve very less pain than a tooth extraction.
